1- I am the true vine, and my Father is the husband-man.
2- Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Matt.15:13> Every plant, which my heavenly Father has not planted, shall be rooted up
Heb.6:8> But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is near unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
3- Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
John 13:10> He that is washed needs not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean but not all.
Eph.5:26>That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
1Pet.1:22> Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently.
4- Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me.
Ehp.2: 21-22> In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom you also are build together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Col.1:23>If you continue in he faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven: whereof I Paul am made a minister;
1John 2:6> He that says he abides in him ought himself also to walk, even as he walked.
5- I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit; for without me you can do nothing.
Prov.11:30>The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that wins souls is wise.
Hos.14:8>Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
Luke 13:6-9>he spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sough fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
Gal.5:22-23>But the fruit of the Spirit is love,joy,peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness,temperance: against such there is no law.
Phil.4:13>I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
6-If a man abide not in me he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Matt.3:10>And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Heb.6:4-6>For it is impossible for those who were once enlightend, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away,to renew them again unto repentance, seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7- If you abide in me, and my words abide in you,you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.
8-Herein is my Father glorified,that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples.
Matt.5:16>Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Phil. 1:11> Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
9- As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10- If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
